Stuart’s interview with Michael Buble

West Coast Host Stuart Brazell covered the red carpet of “An Evening with Michael Buble” given by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences on April 28th at the historic Wadsworth Theatre in Los Angeles. The evening featured a panel discussion featuring the Multi-GRAMMY Award-winning singer joined by the executive and creative team behind his NBC holiday special, “Michael Buble: Home for the Holidays”. The panel included Paul Telegdy (NBC President of Late Night, Specials and Alternative Programming), Brad Lachman (Executive Producer), Bruce Allen (Executive Producer/Buble’s Manager) and Bill Bracken (Producer). Terri Seymour correspondent for “Extra” moderated the panel.

Television Academy members and their guests enjoyed a behind-the-scenes look inside “Michael Buble: Home for the Holidays.” The panel discussed filming the special in Michael’s hometown, Vancouver, and how great and easy it was to work with Rod Stewart, Blake Shelton, Carly Rae Jepsen and Elmo, who all performed on the special. The panel also discussed the long process and the challenges they faced to film the duet with Michael and Bing Crosby, which took two months to edit. When asked if there will be a third holiday special with Michael Buble on NBC, Paul Telegdy confirmed with the audience there will be one this year.

The evening concluded with Michael Buble singing “Who’s Lovin’ You,” “Young at Heart” and “To Love Somebody,” songs from his latest album To Be Loved, which released last week in the US.
